Xiachen Village is located in the south of Jiaojiang with a regional area of 1.1 square kilometers and a population of 789 people. In 2008, the gross output value of industry and agriculture amounted to 138 million and the collective economy income of the village amounted to 2.65 million. The Xiachen Culture Club has been built in the district which cinsists of Villagers’ Park and Activity Centers for recreation, entertainment and health care. The center is facilitated with library, a reading room, a cultural pagoda, chess room, basketball & badminton courts and so on to meet the desires of different people of all ages.
